Affinity With Our Customers
While the core of our business is creating innovative and high-quality Fire Evacuation Schemes, Emergency Plans and Risk Management Assessments for many leading organisations, our relationship with customers goes considerably deeper. Each customer is presented with professional, practical business advice and support.
Fire Evacuation Specialists Limited collaborate with businesses to resolve significant compliance concerns and to facilitate a work environment that reduces safety risks. These objectives are attained through our provision of a safe and efficient Evacuation Scheme to protect all your assets - particularly your staff.
We offer a cost-effective, fully-documented and practical Fire Evacuation Scheme service that meets the most stringent Fire Service standards.
All of our schemes have the NZ Fire Service approval.
Fire Evacuation Schemes
When designing a Scheme we do the hard work so you don’t have to.
Safeguarding your staff and place of business is critically important given the nature of fire.
We perform a building evacuation survey in the process of designing a scheme or procedure tailored to the specifications of your business.
Fire Evacuation Procedures
Do you need a scheme or procedure?
Most commonly, buildings only require the design of an Evacuation Procedure. This procedure emphasises that each occupant of a building is responsible for their own safe evacuation in a fire event. Typically this procedure is suitable for buildings occupied by less than ten people. An Evacuation Scheme is the safest option for your business if more than ten people occupy your facility.
To evaluate your awareness of available options regarding schemes and procedures, consult our Fire Evacuation Checklist below.
If you answer YES to any of the following questions, you should have a Fire Evacuation Scheme that is approved by the New Zealand Fire Service.
Fire Evacuation Checklist
• Do you provide employment facilities for 10 or more people?
• Can 100 or more people gather at any one time in your building?
• Does the building provide accommodation for more than 5 people (other than in 3 or fewer household units)?
• Do you provide early childhood facilities or licensed educational services on your premises?
• Is the building used for storing hazardous substances?
• Are nursing, medical, geriatric or specialised care for disabled persons provided on your premises (other than in a household unit)?
• Do you provide accommodation for people under lawful detention (not home detention)?
